MONTICELLO, AR (DECEMBER 17, 2020) – On Thursday, December 17th, SeaArk Boats hosted their annual employee Christmas party and toy drive. The event consisted of lunch, a video message from our CEO & President, toy drive, service award recognitions, and scavenger hunt for our employees of the quarters.
Each year at Christmas, we recognize our team members that have served for 5 years or more. This years’ service award recipients are Tabitha Bussell – 5 years, Scott Sparks – 5 years, Ed Hunter – 15 years, Cyrus Lietchy, Susie Wheeler – 20 years, Finis Bittle – 20 years, Ronnie McGehee – 25 Years, Angela Naron – 25 Years. We are so proud to have each of these incredible employees working for Team SeaArk.
Our employees of the quarter faced off in a scavenger hunt around the plant to see which department won the title of department of the quarter. Our employees of the quarter this quarter were Brady Flemister, Munika Gragg, Jake Stell, Jackie Glover, Matthew Rouse, and Willard Vincent. The department who succeeded in the scavenger hunt and gained the title of department of the quarter was the paint department.
President Steve Henderson stated, “We are proud of the hard work and dedication that our employees show every day. This event allows us to give back to them and to say thank you. We do several other events throughout the year but enjoy getting to spend the day with our employees showing them just how much we appreciate them.”
Employee’s also donated toys to our annual toy drive this year, which were donated to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. All together our employees donated about 75 toys for children in need this season. SeaArk Paint Supervisor Randy Weaver stated, “I enjoy giving especially around the holidays, and to work for a company who is giving to such a great cause makes me even prouder to be a part of this team.”
