The paint finish on your boat provides beauty, depth of color, gloss retention and durability.

To best way to preserve your boat’s finish is to keep it clean by washing it often with lukewarm or cold water. Try to avoid washing your boat in the direct rays of the sun. Don’t use strong soaps or chemical detergents. Use liquid hand, dish, or car washing soaps. All cleaning agents should be flushed promptly and not allowed to dry on the surface or they could stain. Dry the finish with a soft clean chamois or 100% cotton towel to avoid surface scratches and water spotting.

Never use the following to clean your boat:

  • Gasoline
  • Acetone
  • Paint thinner
  • Turpentine
  • Lacquer thinner
  • Nail Polish Remover
  • Alcohol
  • Laundry Soap
  • Bleach
  • Reducing Agents

Occasional waxing or mild polishing of your boat by hand may be necessary to remove residue from the paint finish. Always use waxes and polishes that are non-abrasive and made for automotive type finishes.

Foreign materials such as calcium chloride and other salts, ice melting agents, road oil, tar, tree sap, bird droppings, chemicals from industrial chimneys, etc. can damage your boat’s finish if they remain on the painted surface. Wash the boat as soon as possible. If necessary, use non-abrasive cleaners that are marked safe for painted surfaces to remove the foreign matter.

Exterior painted surfaces are subject to aging, weather, water pollutants and chemical fallout that can take their toll over a period of time. You can help to keep the paint finish looking new by keeping the boat garaged, covered and avoiding extended stays in water whenever possible.

To properly maintain your Line-X® make sure to be cautious when loading object with sharp points or edges, too much pressure may cause damage.  To clean the liner, use a mild detergent and warm water. DO NOT use products containing wax, silicone or bleach. Learn more: LINE-X.com

No. The Amped Package must be ordered with the boat. It can not be sold after a boat is built and parts can not be purchased separately.

All of our boats have the option to be upgraded. It depends on which model chosen the number of upgrades available. Some of our higher end models already come with most features standard unlike our jon boats which are able to have more things added.

There are many different reasons, but the primary reason is durability. Aluminum boats are built to last longer, require less maintenance and are more forgiving when it comes to scrapes and bumps. Aluminum is also easier and cheaper to repair if there ever is any damage.

This means that we go above and beyond the standard Coast Guard ratings that are required. The National Marine Manufacturers Association creates stricter rules and regulations for boat manufacturers to create a safer more durable boat. Many companies are not a part of the NMMA and are using lower standards.

No. The recommended HP is calculated due to the boats dimensions, weight of the engine and weight capacity of the boat. Over powering a boat can lead to performance problems and even loss of insurance.

If pods are being added after the production of the boat, view our weld guide.

No wood is used in the manufacturing of a SeaArk. We use a composite plastic in our transoms and all aluminum floors, the two most common places for wood use.

We use 50/52 grade aluminum in all of our products.

This combination creates the opportunity to plan a boat that fits a variety of needs. However, we do not build custom boats based on personal drawings or specifications.
